A highly spiced nose features notes of cassis, plum, hoisin and a hint of sandalwood. The ripe, mouth coating and delicious medium-bodied flavors possess excellent length on the well-balanced if youthfully austere finish that also really firms up as it sits on the palate. This is definitely a "buy and forget you own it" wine as I would advise not touching a bottle for at least 10 years and 15 to 20 would likely be better.
