A discreet hint of wood toast frames rather floral and plumy aromas replete with a plethora of Asian spice notes but also a subtle touch of the vegetal that continues onto the round, rich, velvety and ripe flavors that are supported by reasonably well-integrated tannins that are completely coated in sap. This finishes with solid length and intensity and while the '00 Musigny is certainly very stylish, it's also ever-so-slightly awkward now. It's entirely possible that this aspect will change with time as it is clearly still in its ascendancy.
