Jacques Frederic Mugnier Musigny Grand Cru 1989
CRITIC RATING
Burg
91
Like virtually all '89s today, the expressive nose displays fully mature aromas and the initial hints of sous-bois. The gamy, earthy and faintly dry medium full flavors are rich, moderately complex and have largely resolved the underlying tannins, culminating in a slightly austere and ever-so-mildly dry finish of solid though not exceptional persistence.
