Jacques Frederic Mugnier Chambolle Musigny 1er Cru Amoureuses 2003
CRITIC RATING

A notably ripe yet still fresh nose displays notes of spice, menthol and a surprising touch of wood along with still mostly primary dark berry fruit and plum nuances. There is good richness and mid-palate concentration to the powerful, intense and voluminous flavors that culminate in a chocolate and mineral-inflected finale where hints of warmth and bitterness appear. As the description suggests this is awkward and a bit disjointed. I haven't tasted this in a while and thus I am not certain if this bottle was completely representative but either way
