Kilikanoon Wines was established in 1997 in the Clare Valley region of South Australia. The winery was founded by Kevin Mitchell, who had a long history and passion for winemaking in the Clare Valley. The first vintage of Kilikanoon wines was produced in 1998.

The Killerman's Run Riesling, Pinot Gris, Rosé, and GSM are reliable, high-quality expressions of classic Clare Valley grape varieties. The Kx Small Batch line offers more unique and experimental wines, such as Grenache, Montepulciano, and a traditional method Vouvray.

Kilikanoon has received widespread critical acclaim over the years, being named the Mundus Vini Best Producer from Australia multiple times from 2010 to 2022. Wine critic Robert Parker Jr. has praised Kilikanoon as "one of the most brilliantly run wineries in Australia" with an "impressive" quality portfolio.
