(Offer valid until 31 Aug 2025)

In 2022, Burgundy witnessed a vintage characterized by exceptional quality and a harmonious balance across the region. The weather conditions leading up to the harvest were somewhat unexpected but ultimately resulted in wines that are both consistent and expressive.

Domaine Vincent Girardin, under the guidance of Eric Germain, produced noteworthy offerings in 2022. The harvest at Vincent Girardin occurred from August 25th to September 7th, yielding good but not excessive amounts of healthy grapes. Yields were favorable, with alcohol levels for regional wines at 12.5%, village wines ranging from 12.5% to 13.2%, and 1er crus typically at 13.5%. The absence of sugar additions or acidification ensured a solid foundation for the wines.

The white wines were crafted with care, crushed before pressing and using less sulphur than in previous years. Bottling is anticipated in March following racking in the New Year. Meanwhile, the red wines benefited from an 18-day cuvaison, employing techniques such as cool maceration and infusion methods. Most reds are sourced from the domaine's own vineyards, with bottling expected between December and February.
