A gorgeously spicy, even perfumed nose that remains entirely primary offers up notes of spice, earth, the sauvage and a combination of super-fresh red and dark currant scents. The still very firm and backward middle weight plus flavors possess both excellent mid-palate density and plenty of minerality that carries over to the hugely long finish that is impeccably well-balanced. This is so well-balanced that despite how young it is at present, with air it could actually be enjoyed though one thing that is crystal clear is that this is very much on the rise. in a word, brilliant.
