A ripe, complex and densely fruited nose that has gone largely if not completely toward the secondary side of the spectrum with hints of sous bois, stewed fruit, spice and earth that leads to concentrated and powerful flavors supported by ever-so-slightly dry tannins and a touch of warmth on the admirably long finish. I would be inclined to drink this sooner than later because even though there is still some unresolved structure, the finish is beginning to dry out.
