This is easily the freshest wine to this point with its splendidly complex aromas of mostly red currant, plum and spice nuances. There is a pleasingly rich and seductive texture to the tautly muscular and well-concentrated broad-shouldered flavors where the supporting tannins are seamlessly well-integrated on the serious, moderately austere and stunningly persistent finish.
