Here the ripe and attractively fresh nose displays a dense blend of earth, spice, plum, violet and sauvage-tinged aromas. The middle weight flavors possess a mouth feel that is almost a hypothetical combination of the Lavières and Aux Allots in that it's quite rich yet sleek with a seductive succulence, all wrapped in an impeccably well-balanced and lingering finale. This too is really quite impressive for a Nuits villages.
