Here too moderate wood sets off notably cooler aromas of various dark berries that exhibit hints of spice, rose petal, sauvage and earth. The highly energetic, detailed and focused middle weight plus flavors are based on a far more prominent base of both minerality and structure but there is no absence of richness on the markedly firm but not really robust or especially austere finish.
