An evening of fine wine and great conversation high above Central. We recently had the pleasure of partnering with a valued corporate client to design an elevated, multi-booth wine tasting experience at Porterhouse.
Across three dedicated tasting stations, guests embarked on a sensory journey through France’s most celebrated wine regions. The lineup opened with the crisp, chalky energy of Champagne Delamotte Brut Non-Vintage, before moving into a vibrant flight of whites—from the old-vine richness of Suduiraut’s 2023 Grand Vin Blanc Sec, to the effortless purity of Les Héritiers du Comte Lafon’s 2023 Mâcon-Milly-Lamartine in 1.5L Magnum, and the precise, mineral frame of Alphonse Mellot’s 2023 Sancerre ‘La Moussière’.
The red selection brought incredible depth and presence to the room, anchored by an impressive showcase of large formats. Designed to spark curiosity and conversation, these statement bottles offered guests a rare chance to taste iconic wines poured exclusively from Magnums, Jeroboams, and Imperials—from Domaine de Montille 2022 Beaune 1er Cru ‘Les Sizies’ (1.5L Magnum) and Château de Beaucastel Châteauneuf-du-Pape 2021 (3L Jeroboam), to majestic 6L Imperials of 2020 Right Bank benchmarks Château Canon and Château Belair-Monange.
