An intimate evening unfolded at The Orangery, Rosewood Hong Kong, as we welcomed guests for A Night of Three Iconic Estates, showcasing Château-Grillet, Domaine d’Eugénie and Clos de Tart from the prestigious Artémis Domaines portfolio.
Hosted by Frédéric Engerer, Managing Director of Artémis Domaines, the experience was defined by quiet elegance. Guests journeyed from the mica-schist terraces of the Northern Rhône, through the storied climats of Vosne-Romanée and Morey-Saint-Denis, tasting verticals and library vintages that showcased the singular character of each estate.
Château-Grillet’s refined Viogniers opened the evening with poise and aromatic complexity. Domaine d’Eugénie followed with silky, fragrant Pinot Noirs from Vosne-Romanée, Échezeaux and Clos Vougeot, displaying remarkable finesse and depth. The night culminated with the powerful yet ethereal expressions of Clos de Tart’s monopole Grand Cru, including the legendary 2002, revealing layers of floral perfume, crushed stone and enduring vitality.
Paired seamlessly with The Orangery’s refined menu — from roasted Hokkaido scallop and yellow chicken plin ravioli to herb-crusted lamb and slow-cooked Wagyu short rib — each dish was thoughtfully composed to honour the wines’ nuance and structure.
Our deepest thanks to Frédéric Engerer for his generous presence and invaluable insights, and to all our guests who joined us for this special evening.
