From Chablis to Volnay, an afternoon immersed in the many faces of Burgundy.
Our Q2 Trade Tasting gathered a distinguished lineup of producers across Chablis, Côte de Beaune, and Côte de Nuits, offering trade partners the opportunity to explore wines shaped by heritage, vineyard character, and the distinct philosophies of each domaine.
The lineup moved from the lifted minerality of Domaine Lavantureux to the refined elegance of Domaine Marquis d’Angerville, alongside the layered and site-driven wines of Domaine Taupenot-Merme, Domaine Jean & Gilles Lafouge, and Domaine Michèle & Patrice Rion.
From Chablis Vaudésir Grand Cru and Meursault Clos de Rougeot to Morey-Saint-Denis 1er Cru La Riotte and Volnay 1er Cru Fremiet, the tasting showcased a collection of wines that captured Burgundy’s remarkable diversity — each appellation revealing its own rhythm, texture, and sense of place.
Thank you to all our trade partners who joined us for an afternoon of great bottles, thoughtful exchanges, and shared passion for Burgundy.
Beyond Burgundy, we arranged our guest sommeliers and trade partners with three “mystery” bottles for a blind tasting session. This sparked brilliant technical debates and a true exchange of expertise. It was a pleasure to witness such deep engagement and shared passion as everyone worked together to unmask each pour.
