Domaine Joseph Colin is a distinguished winery located in the Côte de Beaune region of Burgundy, France, known for its exceptional Pinot Noir and Chardonnay wines. The estate proudly carries the legacy of the Colin family, emphasizing quality and authenticity in its winemaking.

Joseph Colin, son of Marc Colin and younger brother of Pierre-Yves Colin, took over Domaine Marc Colin after Pierre-Yves left to establish his own label in 2003. Having worked alongside his father since the age of 19, Joseph began his own venture in 2017 by acquiring over 6 hectares from the family estate—a practice rooted in Burgundian tradition that allows elder children to cultivate exceptional vines.

Domaine Joseph Colin spans approximately 8 hectares of carefully tended vineyards located in some of Burgundy's most prestigious white wine appellations, such as Saint-Aubin and Puligny-Montrachet. Joseph’s intimate knowledge of these renowned terroirs informs his dedication to sustainable practices, promoting the health of both the vines and the environment.

In the winery, Joseph employs a hands-off approach, focusing on natural processes that allow the terroir to express itself fully. He utilizes indigenous yeast for fermentation and ages his wines in 350-liter barrels on fine lees, fostering complexity and depth.

The result is a collection of wines that exemplify the unique Chardonnay terroir, showcasing vibrancy and character that are both highly prized and often elusive. Through his commitment to craftsmanship, Joseph Colin continues to create wines that captivate enthusiasts and collectors alike, preserving the family legacy while establishing his own path in winemaking.
